The community

A community is at the heart of the Spirituality Centre. The current community is a community of sisters of the Society of the Sacred Heart. In the future the community could include others. The community has strong connections in the neighbourhood and with the wider national and international community.

The staff and those who come to the Centre become part of the Kerever Park Spirituality Centre community.

The community of sisters

The current community is a community of sisters of the Society of the Sacred Heart. They live in the convent on the site.

The local neighbourhood community

This community is also part of the local neighbourhood community. For example the people in the immediate neighbourhood informally meet together on the last Sunday of each month.

The national and international community

The community is also part of an International order - the Society of the Sacred Heart - which has sisters in 45 countries.

The Centre is a home for members of the Society and Associates from all over the world, especially those in the Australian and New Zealand Province of the Society.

The community often has guests from the Society.
